Abstract

Litsea castanea Hook.f., L. cordata (Jack) Hook.f., L. firma (Blume) Hook.f., L. hirsutissima Gamble and L. tomentosa Blume are described as five new records from peninsular Thailand. Lectotypes or neotypes are designated for all names.
