By substitution, ionic radii of <em>M2+</em> ions should smaller than ionic radii of B3+ cations for a resulting of increasing the electrical conductivity. In case of B sites, it should be selected in the transition element for enhancing the Seebeck coefficient as a resulting from the strong correlation between spin and orbital of charge carriers. For reducing the thermal conductivity, the <em>M</em> should be selected in large atomic mass element for raising molecule weight. Totally, when the 3 values of thermoelectric properties are improved, the <em>ZT</em> value of the Cu-based delafossite is enhanced. By the reason, the <em>ZT</em> values, which  are 0.06 and 0.12 for x=0.03 and 0.05 respectively at 950 K, of CuFeO2 delafossite can be improved by partial substitution of Sn2+ cation for Fe sites (CuFe1-xSnxO2) as referencing with <em>ZT</em> = 0.025 of at 950 K for CuFeO2.</p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> Thermoelectric,  Delafossite  Oxide,  Partial Substitution</p> ER -
