The invented multipurpose three-wheel solar mini truck is multipurpose vehicle that can be used for carriage and delivery of items/goods and also used as energy source for other electric appliances. Its structure was modified from the original electric three-wheel mini truck by installing 3,000 watts (48 volts) DC motor instead of the original 1,500 watts (60 volts). Solar panels were installed on the top in order to convert solar energy into electricity which stored in the battery bank for later use. A hybrid inverter is used to convert 48 volts DC into 220 volts AC supply for general electric appliances/equipments. The driving test showed that the invented multipurpose three-wheel solar mini truck can be used satisfactorily. Driving test on flat surface showed that it has average speed about 25 km/h without load and 23 km/h with 350 kg loaded. The driving test on slope found that it could climb up 9.5 degrees slope (about 16.67 percent) for both cases (with and without load).&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> electric three-wheel mini truck; photovoltaic cell; solar cell</p> ER -
