Abstract

Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a malignant tumorwhich has highest incidence in Northeast of Thailand.At the present, there is no effective treatment available.Thus, searching for novel and effective natural productsused for prevention or treatment of cancer is necessary.Since natural products contain several importantcompounds, some compounds have wide range activityand have potential for cancer prevention and treatmentsuch as phenolic compounds, alkaloids and vitamins etc.This review will discuss about natural compounds whichhave been investigated in vitro or preclinical studiesin CCA.
