Abstract

The study of motor nerve conduction velocity, motor distal latency and sensory distal latency of the median and ulnar nerves was done in 500 Volumteers aged 20-30 yearold, The results were (1)s motor nerve conduction velocity of the mediam and ulnar nerves were 60.16 +3.82 and 64.31+4.14 m/sec, (2) motor and distal latency of the median and ulnar nerves were  3.14 +0.31 and 2.62+0.2 msec, (3) sensory distal latency of the mediam and ulnar nerves were 2.95+0.15 and 2.94+ 0.17 msec, (4) The differents of the motor distal latency between the mediam and ulnar nerves in the same arm were ≤ 1.5 msec, between right and left mediam nerves and between right and lift ulner nerves were ≤0.9 and 0.3 mesc, (5) The diferents of the sensory distal latency between the mediam and ulnar nerves in the same arm was ≤0.4 msec, between right and lift mediam nerves and between right and lift ulnar nerves were ≤ 0.4 and 0.5 msec respectively.
