Motorcycle Accidents in KKU Students

Abstract

This study was done by collecting data from the medical records of Srinagarind Hospital and Khon Kaen provincial Hospital between October 1984 and September 1985. During the period, 19 Khon Kaen University students who has motorcycle accidents were admitted to the hospitals. There were 9 males and 10 females. Most of the accident occurred between 6 p.m. and midnight. The most common location of serious injury was the head. The remaining injuries were mostly fracture of the bones of the extremities. No fatal injury was noted during this period. Fatal injuries in the different period are bing studied.
