Quality Control of Scintillation Camera at Srinagarind Hospital

Abstract

Quality Control of Scintillation camera at Srinagarind Hospital is established after the initiation by the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Expert and the follow up visits by the National Quality Control Coordinator. The tests, which follow IAEA TEC-DOC 317 , consist of field uniformity , window offset and varying window, spatial and energy resolution , resolving time and maximum count rate determination. It can be concluded that the camere performance is unsatisfied due to the deterioration of the system. The new camera is recommended to purchase in order to prolong the image study by nuclear medicine.
