Abstract

Grading of the examination result is the final step in the evaluation of the learning experiences outcome and the level of competence of students. As there are so many standard methods of grading for use , such that to make a choice between them is difficult , especially when using a microcomputer assistance is also required. We decide to create a normative reference grading program using a sixteen-bit, IBM compatible microcomputer , utillizing normalised T-score and Ebell’s method. The principles and the use of the methods and the program as well as the reasons of the choice are fully elaborated , so that its application in a  commonly available microcomputer can be accomplished easily.
