Abstract

The use of radiation for cancer treatment has been advanced in the past few years.  It si important to study radiation effects for the purposes that top quality cancer therapy will be achieved to every cancer patient, and the complication will be greatly reduced.

The incidence of Radiation-induced lesions is common with highly variable clinical manifestation in different anatomic sites.  The side effects of radiations were found as follow : decreasing in salivation, cataract, bone necrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, intestinal obstruction, nephritis, hypertension, liver failure, cardiomyopathy, neurologic disorder, myelitis.  The other late effects were that life shortening, radiation induced cancer, and genetic effects.  The acute and late complications which can or cannot ovoid in radiation treatment cancer are discussd in this article.
