Central serous chorioretinoopathy is not uncommon condition. It has good prognosis. This condition normally resolve spontaneously in most patients but in some cases further treatments are needed. The laser photocoagulation has been widely accepted as the treatment method for such condition. Although, other lasers have been suggested for central serous chorioretinopathy, argon green laser has been the most widely studied and accepted modality. Laser photocoagulation is a safe and efficient treatment. Since the availablity of laser machines in Thaland is rather limited, physicians should refer patients, who have indications for laser photocoagulation, to institutes or hospitals that have the laser machine and retinal specialist.
