Abstract

ภาวะทางเดินอาหารทำหน้าที่ผิดปกติไร้โรคทางกาย (functional gastrointestinal disorders, FGIDs) คือกลุ่มอาการผิดปกติของทางเดินอาหารโดยไม่มีความผิดปกติของโครงสร้างหรือชีวเคมีในร่างกาย1, 2 อาการที่พบบ่อยในทารกและเด็กเล็กได้แก่ อาการร้องโคลิก (colic) แหวะนม (regurgitation) ท้องผูก (constipation) เป็นต้น3 แม้ว่าภาวะ FGIDs นี้จะไม่มีความผิดปกติทางกายและไม่ส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อสุขภาพของทารกและเด็กเล็ก แต่ส่วนใหญ่จะทำให้เกิดความวิตกกังวลแก่ผู้ปกครองและอาจส่งผลต่อความสัมพันธ์ภายในครอบครัวได้4,5 ดังนั้นแพทย์ควรตระหนักถึงภาวะเหล่านี้รวมถึงการแยกโรคทางกายที่อาจมาด้วยอาการคล้ายกัน และส่งตรวจค้นเพิ่มเติมตามความเหมาะสม6
