Descriptive study : Infertile patients at Srinagarind Hospital. During 1988-1992

Abstract

A descriptive  study  of 1,098 infertile  couples  who  came  to  Srinagarind  hospital   between  1988-1992 is  reported. The female  age  was  15-47 years (26.98 years) and  the male age  was 18-67 years (30.17 years). Ninety eight point  seven of the couples lived in the north – east of Thailand and there were 33.8% living in Khon Kaen  province. The average infertility time was 4.55 years and post-married time was no data records  in 43.26%  of  the  couples

The  cases of  infertility  were factors 31.42% 31.42%  female  factors  19.30%  and  an  be  identified   factors  53.55% The  numbers of  treatment  and  follow  up  were  analyzed  as  follow : 31.3%  of  the  couples  has  one  treatment, 50%  of   the   couples  came 2-5 couples  that  got  pregnant  (5.3%).
