Abstract

Hemangiomas are the most common tumor of infancy and are more frequently seen in the skin. Infantile hemangiomas is characterized by rapid growth during infancy followed by spontaneous involution over 1 to 5 years. Basic knowledge of hemangiomas will be support the effective treatment.  The purpose of this article is to review  pathogenesis, incidence, clinical manifestations, natural history and treatment options for hemangiomas that will be useful for the clinicians.
