Reference Interval for Prealbumin in Serum of Healthy Thais

บทคัดย่อ

Determination of serum prealbumin in 133 healthy Thais, which consists of 74 males and 59 females, was found that prealbumin concentration in male was significantly higher than that of female (P<0.001).  The reference interval of serum prealbumin concentration was 204-448 mg/L and 140-388 mg/L for male and female respectively.  However, there was no signficant difference in the age group of male or female variation (p>0.05).
