บทคัดย่อ

Knee prosthesis is an important component in the fabrication of above the-knee prosthesis. To overcome problems of high prine and difficulty in acquiring various spare parts of imported product, a simplified design of single-asis knee prosthesis (Ortho . KKU. Model) was constructed. This is aimed to accomplish the same significant function with fewer elements so that it will become less costly but more durable. A total of 15 prostheses have been fabricated in services of Srinasarind and KhonKaen Provincial Hospitals between 1986-1987 ; no significant complication or breakdown has been noted by the prosthetists.
