หลักการและวัตถุประสงค์: บุคลากรทางการแพทย์มีความเสี่ยงต่อการสัมผัสเชื้อในโรงพยาบาล ภูมิคุ้มกันต่อเชื้อที่ป้องกันได้ด้วยวัคซีนจึงมีความจำเป็นโดยเฉพาะผู้ที่เข้าทำงานใหม่ การศึกษานี้จึงต้องการสำรวจสัดส่วนผู้มีภูมิคุ้มกันต่อไวรัสตับอักเสบบี หัด และสุกใส ในบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่เข้าทำงานใหม่
วิธีการศึกษา: การศึกษานี้เป็นวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบเก็บข้อมูลย้อนหลัง ประชากรศึกษาคือบุคลากรทางการแพทย์เข้าทำงานใหม่ ณ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น โดยสืบค้นข้อมูลเวชระเบียนการตรวจสุขภาพก่อนเข้าทำงานในช่วง 1 ต.ค. 2561 - 31 ต.ค. 2564 ได้แก่อายุ เพศ อาชีพ ภูมิคุ้มกันต่อไวรัสตับอักเสบบี หัดและสุกใส วิเคราะห์และแสดงผลเป็นจำนวน ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย มัธยฐาน และพิสัยควอไทล์
ผลการศึกษา: บุคลากรที่ตรวจสุขภาพก่อนเข้าทำงาน พ.ศ. 2561-2564 มีจำนวน 2,156 ราย เป็นเพศชายปีละ144-192 ราย หญิง 301-459 ราย มัธยฐานอายุ 24-26 ปี พิสัยควอไทล์ 5-6 ปี ประกอบอาชีพแพทย์มากที่สุดร้อยละ 30.4-42.2 รองลงมาได้แก่พยาบาลร้อยละ 13.5-30.6 สัดส่วนเฉลี่ยของผู้มีภูมิคุ้มกันต่อไวรัสตับอักเสบบีได้แก่ร้อยละ 66.8 หัดร้อยละ 66.7 และสุกใสร้อยละ 91.6 โดยพนักงานการแพทย์ พยาบาล และแพทย์เป็นอาชีพที่มีจำนวนผู้ไม่มีภูมิคุ้มกันต่อไวรัสตับอักเสบบี และหัดมากที่สุด
สรุป: บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ผู้เข้าทำงานใหม่มีภูมิคุ้มกันต่อไวรัสตับอักเสบบีและหัดน้อยลง เป็นความเสี่ยงสำคัญที่ควรตรวจสอบก่อนเข้าทำงานเพื่อดำเนินการเสริมสร้างภูมิคุ้มกันดังกล่าวให้ครอบคลุม
