บทคัดย่อ

            Systemic Sclerosis caused changes of the vascular system, excessive collagen and over stimulated immune system. Resulting in the destruction of small blood vessels, decreased blood flow, fingers stiffness etc. affected on daily life. Physical therapy treatments, Thai massage, joints mobilization, wear gloves can be done to take care of their own. Correct practice under the guidance of healthcare professional and physical therapists promote the medical treatment to improve quality of life.

กายภาพบำบัดในโรคหนังแข็ง

โรคหนังแข็งทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงของระบบหลอดเลือด การยึดติดจากเนื้อเยื่อคอลลาเจนมีมากเกิน และการกระตุ้นระบบภูมิคุ้มกัน ส่งผลให้เกิดการทำลายหลอดเลือดขนาดเล็กการไหลเวียนลดลง นิ้วมือติดแข็ง เป็นต้น ส่งผลกระทบในการดำรงชีวิตประจำวัน การรักษาทางกายภาพบำบัด ได้แก่ การนวดไทย การขยับข้อต่อ การสวมถุงมือ การประคบอุ่นเป็นการดูแลตนเองที่สามารถทำได้เอง ได้ผลดี มีความปลอดภัย ซึ่งหากฝึกปฏิบัติอย่างถูกวิธีภายใต้คำแนะนำของแพทย์ผู้ดูแลและนักกายภาพบำบัด จะช่วยส่งเสริมผลการรักษาทางการแพทย์ให้ดียิ่งขึ้น เพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วย
