รูปแบบการให้บริการจ่ายยาตามใบสั่งยาและเติมยาตามใบสั่งยาในผู้ป่วยโรคเรื้อรัง ที่ร้านยาในต่างประเทศ

การให้บริการจ่ายยาตามใบสั่งยาและเติมยาตามใบสั่งยาเป็นการให้บริการทางเภสัชกรรมในผู้ป่วยโรคเรื้อรังที่กำหนดให้เภสัชกรมีอำนาจในการจ่ายยาตามใบสั่งยาของแพทย์แก่ผู้ป่วยได้ก่อนถึงกำหนดนัดติดตามการรักษากับแพทย์ในครั้งถัดไป เปิดโอกาสให้เภสัชกรสามารถให้คำแนะนำ ติดตามการใช้ยา ค้นหาและแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกิดจากการใช้ยาร่วมกับแพทย์ได้ และเป็นการขยายบทบาททางวิชาชีพของเภสัชกรชุมชน จากข้อมูลการให้บริการจ่ายยาตามใบสั่งยาและเติมยาตามใบสั่งยาในร้านยาในต่างประเทศ ได้แก่ ประเทศอังกฤษ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และประเทศเยอรมนี พบว่าเป็นแนวปฏิบัติทั่วไปที่แต่ละประเทศมีรูปแบบของการให้บริการที่คล้ายคลึงกัน จุดที่แตกต่างคือวิธีการที่ใช้ในการกำหนดบัญชียาที่สามารถจ่ายชดเชยค่ายาคืนได้ กำหนดราคากลางสำหรับจ่ายชดเชยค่ายาคืนให้แก่ร้านยา กำหนดค่าตอบแทนวิชาชีพต่อการให้บริการในแต่ละครั้ง และการเรียกเก็บค่าร่วมจ่ายจากผู้เข้ารับบริการ โดยมีการสนับสนุนเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศช่วยเชื่อมโยงให้เภสัชกรชุมชนกับระบบสุขภาพ ให้สามารถเข้าถึงข้อมูลที่จำเป็นต่อการให้บริการได้
