Abstract

The suitable seed storage technology for plant genetic conservation should be practical, save, and it could be most importantly maintain seed viability and no genetic changes. This paper was mainly reviewed the plant germplasm conservation, seed storage behavior, factors affecting seed longevity, storage technology for seed conservation as well as the cryopreservation and advantages and disadvantages for seed conservation.
