Chemical Spraying System for Spherical Bodies

Abstract

This study ws to develop a chemicl spraying system for sphericall bodies. The methodology comprised design, construction, testing nd evaluation of the spraying system consisting of 12 springler heads instlled to 1 -inch PVC pipe attched to 2x5x2.45 m rectngular steel frame. Chemicl solution was driven by 1 hp pump with filter for solution reuse. System operation was semi-antomatic and electrically controlled.
Testing resulted when using food dye as chemicl substqance, spraying the solution consumed 55 seconds to completely wet the pltic 15.5 cm dimeter balls packed uniformaly in two 1x1.2x0.7 m rectangular wooden bins, one over the other.
