Abstract

Influence of chemical fertilizer and farmyard manure on Thai green stem kenaf fiber produced on an infertile, sandy loam Korat soil at Mahasarakarm was investigated. The experiment was arranged in a Split Plot Design with 4 replications. The main plot consisted of 3 rates of farmyard manure (0}200 and 400 kg/rai) and the sub-plot consisted of 3 rates of chemical fertilizer (15 - 15 - 15 of N - P2O5 - K2 O at 0 , 25 and 50 kg/rai). results showed that there are significant interaction between chemical fertilizer and farmyard manure. The treatment which recieved 25 kg./rai of 15 - 15 - 15 grade chemical fertilizer plus 200 kg/rai of farmyard manure gave the most satisfactory fiber yield of 540 kg/rai.
