Abstract

This study aims to study the knowledge of caring of the elderly of the volunteer care for the elderly in the community of Bangkok Yai, Bangkok and compare the differences of the test scores before and after the training of the knowledge of caring of the elderly of the volunteer care for the elderly in the community of Bangkok Yai, Bangkok. This research is the action research. The population used in this research is the volunteers that come to train on the subject of Education Quality Development and Local Development Project with Higher Education Institute be a mentor organized by Faculty of Health Science, Siam Technology College on 3rd October 2020 for 46 persons. The research tool is the knowledge test of development activity of the volunteer care for the elderly in the community. The research results were found that there are increased knowledge about caring of the elderly more than before training accounted for 100 percent. And when comparing the scores between before training and after training found that the scores after training of the volunteers care of the elderly are higher than before training statistically significant at .05.
