การศึกษาขีดความสามารถของโรงแรมในการรองรับนักนักท่องเที่ยวกรณีศึกษา เมืองบุรีรัมย์ A STUDY TOURISM CARRYING CAPACITY : A CASE STUDY OF BURIRAM’S HOTELS

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ  

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์ปัจจุบันของโรงแรมในการรองรับนักท่องเที่ยว กรณีศึกษาเมืองบุรีรัมย์ 2) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมและความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวต่อความสามารถในการรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวของโรงแรมในเมืองบุรีรัมย์และ 3) เสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาของโรงแรมเมืองศูนย์กลางกีฬาในการรองรับนักท่องเที่ยว กรณีศึกษาเมืองบุรีรัมย์

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจโดยใช้การสำรวจเกี่ยวกับข้อมูลด้านลักษณะทางกายภาพของโรงแรมในอำเภอเมืองบุรีรัมย์ เพื่อแสดงจำนวน ที่ตั้ง ประเภทของโรงแรม จำนวนห้องพัก ราคา สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ และการใช้แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมและความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวต่อความสามารถในการรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวของโรงแรมในเมืองบุรีรัมย์

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า เมืองบุรีรัมย์มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงจากอดีตที่เป็นเมืองทางผ่านสู่ปัจจุบันที่มีนักท่องเที่ยวเดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวความสนใจพิเศษด้านกีฬาและนันทนาการเพิ่มขึ้น มีคุณลักษณะเด่น คือ มาเที่ยว 4 – 5 ครั้งต่อปี นิยมเข้าพักในโรงแรมที่มีที่ตั้งอยู่ในศูนย์กลางการท่องเที่ยวใกล้แหล่งอำนวยความสะดวก ควรจัดสรรการบริการด้านต่าง ๆ การจัดห้องพักที่เอื้ออำนวนต่อการพักผ่อน สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ ให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวและควรได้รับการพัฒนาคุณภาพด้านสุขภาพอนามัย และด้านการบริการ ให้เหมาะกับนักท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬา

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to study the current situation of the hotel to accommodate tourist Buriram. Second is to study the behavior and needs of tourists on the ability to accommodate tourists of hotels in Buriram. And third is to propose guidelines for the development of hotels in sports centers to accommodate tourists Buriram.    

This research was survey research using the investigation of hotels physical appearance in Buriram District to constitute the number of hotels, locations and their type as well as room categories, room prices and facilities in hotels in Buriram. Moreover, analysis hotel’s abilities to facilitate tourists in Buriram by examination of their behaviour and their requirements. 

Consequently, Buriram had been transformed from a gateway city to the most popular tourist destination in Northeast Thailand particularly in sport tourisms and recreation activities.  Furthermore, the characteristic of tourist was most likely accommodated at hotel which located in the heart of the city. As the most of attraction were in the middle of Buriram. In addition, quality of service should be assigned to tourists included finding a convenience accommodation. Also, ensuring that healthcare and service were adequately developed to suitable for sport tourism.
