การใช้การวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วมในการส่งเสริมความรู้และการมีส่วนร่วม ในการปลูกผักสวนครัวของคนจนเมือง ชุมชนเทพารักษ์ 5 เทศบาลนครขอนแก่น จังหวัดขอนแก่น Using participatory action research to promote knowledge and participation in backyard gardening of urban poor people Thepharak Community 5, Khon Kaen Municipality, Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่องการส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในการปลูกผักสวนครัวของคนจนเมือง ชุมชนเทพารักษ์ 5 เทศบาลนครขอนแก่น จังหวัดขอนแก่น มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้และการมีส่วนร่วมในการปลูกผักสวนครัวของคนจนเมืองชุมชนเทพารักษ์ 5 เทศบาลนครขอนแก่น จังหวัดขอนแก่น โดยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory Action Research) เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้ที่สนใจปลูกผักสวนครัว ชุมชนเทพารักษ์ 5 เทศบาลนครขอนก่น จังหวัดขอนแก่น จำนวน 10 คน ปรากฎผลการวิจัยดังนี้

การส่งเสริมความรู้การปลูกผักสวนครัวมีการทำแบบทดสอบก่อน-หลัง (Pre Test-Post Test)
เรื่องการปลูกผักสวนครัวและการดูแลรักษา และเรื่องดินและวิธีการปรับปรุงหน้าดิน พบว่า มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยเพิ่มมากขึ้น และผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมมีความรู้เพิ่มมากขึ้นในด้านการทำปุ๋ย การเลี้ยงพืชเศรษฐกิจ ที่สามารถนำไปสู่การสร้างรายได้เสริมในอนาคต เนื่องจากคนจนเมือง ชุมชนเทพารักษ์ 5 ได้รับความรู้จากการอบรมส่งเสริมความรู้ความเข้าใจจากสำนักวิจัยและพัฒนาการเกษตร เขต 3 และสำนักงานพัฒนาที่ดิน เขต 5  

การส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมในการปลูกผักสวนครัว พบว่า คนจนเมือง ชุมชนเทพารักษ์ 5 มีพื้นที่ในการปลูกผักสวนครัวเพิ่มมากขึ้น ภายหลังการปฏิบัติการอย่างมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนและคณะผู้วิจัยที่ร่วมกันปลูกผักสวนครัว ส่งผลให้ปัจจุบันมีจำนวนผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมปลูกผักสวนครัวเพิ่มมากขึ้นจากเดิม มีการจัดสรรเวลาในการดูแลผักสวนครัวของชุมชนร่วมกัน และแบ่งปันผักสวนครัวให้กับสมาชิก ลดรายจ่ายครัวเรือนในการประกอบอาหาร จนกระทั่งนำไปสู่การก่อตั้งกลุ่มปลูกผักสวนครัวอย่างไม่เป็นทางการโดยมีแกนนำ คือผู้นำชุมชนและผู้ที่สนใจปลูกผักสวนครัว

         This research aims to promote knowledge and participation in vegetable gardening for poor people in Thepharak Community 5, Khon Kaen Municipality, Khon Kaen Province. It was participatory action research that collected data from 10 people living in Thepharak 5 community, Khon Kaen Municipality, Khon Kaen Province who were interested in backyard gardening. The results of the research were as follows:

         To promote knowledge about backyard gardening, there was a Pre Test-Post Test concerning backyard gardening, garden vegetable maintenance, soil, and soil improvement methods. It was found that the average scores increased and the participants had more knowledge about fertilization and economic cropping that could lead to additional income in the future because the urban poor in Thepharak Community 5 received knowledge from the training to promote knowledge and understanding of the Agricultural Research and Development Office District 3 and the Land Development Office District 5.

         To promote participation in backyard gardening, it was found that the urban poor in Thepharak 5 community had more area to grow backyard gardens after the participation of the community and the research team who planted backyard gardens. As a result, there are more people interested in participating in backyard gardening now. Time is allocated to take care of the backyard garden of the community together. backyard gardens are shared with members. Household expenditure on cooking has decreased. This led to the establishment of an informal backyard gardening group with the leadership of the community and those interested in the backyard garden.
