          ภูมิอากาศเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญต่อการผลิตพืช ภาวะโลกร้อนที่ทำให้อุณหภูมิสูงขึ้น และรูปแบบการตกของฝนเปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากอดีต เนื่องจากการปลดปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสู่บรรยากาศ ผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นจะทำให้ปริมาณผลผลิตพืชลดลงมากน้อยแตกต่างกันขึ้นอยู่กับความรุนแรงของแต่ละพื้นที่และแต่ละปี บทความนี้ ได้กล่าวถึงสาเหตุของการเกิดภาวะโลกร้อนต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงภูมิอากาศ ปัจจัยสำคัญในการผลิตพืช                 การเจริญเติบโตของพืช และระบบการปลูกพืช การบรรเทาและการปรับตัวเพื่อรองรับผลกระทบจากภาวะโลกรอนรวมทั้งผลกระทบของภาวะโลกร้อนในเชิงบวกต่อการผลิตพืช

Abstract

          Climate is the primary important factor for crop production. Global warming caused increasing temperature and changing rainfall pattern. This was mainly due to release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The impact of global warming would reduce crop yield with variation areas to areas and year to year. This article reviews the cause of occurring global warming, impact of global warming on climate change, important factors for crop production, crop growth and cropping systems, mitigation and adaptation, as well as the positive effect of global warming on crop production.
