การศึกษารูปแบบการรับบุคคลเข้าศึกษาในระบบ TCAS ปีการศึกษา 2566 กรณีศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น A Study of the TCAS Admission Model for the 2023 Academic Year: A Case Study of Khon Kaen University

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ
           การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และประเมินรูปแบบการรับบุคคลเข้าศึกษาในระบบ TCAS ปีการศึกษา 2566 ของมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น และเพื่อนำผลที่ได้จากงานวิจัยสู่การพัฒนาการรับบุคคลเข้าศึกษาให้สอดคล้องกับระบบ TCAS  กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่ม คือ 1) นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในระบบ TCAS ปีการศึกษา 2566 เก็บข้อมูลได้ จำนวน 308 คน  2)ครูแนะแนว/ครูฝ่ายวิชาการของโรงเรียนในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ เก็บข้อมูลได้ จำนวน 358 คน 3)บุคลากรด้านการรับเข้าศึกษาของคณะต่างๆในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เก็บข้อมูล ได้ 31 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1)ข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม 2)ความรู้ความเข้าใจ 3)นโยบาย 4)องค์ประกอบและเกณฑ์การคัดเลือก 5)การดำเนินการคัดเลือก มาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 4 ระดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การหาคุณภาพของเครื่องมือ ดำเนินการโดยศึกษาแนวคิด ทฤษฎีและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่างแบบสอบถามตามกรอบแนวคิดทีได้ศึกษา นำร่างแบบสอบถามเสนอต่อ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พิพัธน์ เรืองแสง (คณะกรรมการกองทุนวิจัยฯ) และ คณะกรรมการจริยธรรมการวิจัยในมนุษย์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น เพื่อตรวจสอบความถูกต้อง เหมาะสม และความครอบคลุมของเนื้อหา ปรับปรุงแก้ไขแบบสอบถามตามข้อเสนอแนะของคณะกรรมการฯ นำแบบสอบถามที่ผ่านการพิจารณาและได้รับการรับรองด้านจริยธรรมการวิจัยในมนุษย์ (เลขที่ HE 673215) ไปใช้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลกับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) กลุ่มนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ในระบบ TCAS ปีการศึกษา 2566 มีความเข้าใจและพึงพอใจต่อรูปแบบการรับบุคคลในระบบ TCAS ในระดับสูง โดยพบว่าค่านิยมและความคาดหวังของครอบครัวอาจกดดันนักเรียนเล็กน้อย 2) ครูแนะแนว/ครูฝ่ายวิชาการของโรงเรียนในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ มีการรับรู้และความเข้าใจในระดับปานกลาง แต่เชื่อว่านโยบายการรับเข้ามีความโปร่งใส 3)บุคลากรด้านการรับเข้าศึกษาของคณะต่างๆในมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นโยบายการรับเข้ามีความชัดเจนและเกณฑ์การคัดเลือกมีความเหมาะสมต่อการศึกษาต่อการพัฒนาระบบรับบุคคลให้สอดคล้องกับ TCAS

Abstract

           This research aims to analyze and evaluate the student admission process through the TCAS system for the 2023 academic year at Khon Kaen University, with the goal of using the findings to enhance the admission process to better align with the TCAS system. The study sample consists of three groups: (1) 308 first-year students admitted to Khon Kaen University through the TCAS system in 2023, (2) 358 guidance counselors and academic staff from schools in northeastern Thailand, and (3) 31 admission personnel from various faculties at Khon Kaen University, selected using cluster random sampling. The research instruments included (1) general information about the respondents, (2) knowledge and understanding, (3) policies, (4) selection criteria and components, and (5) the selection process. The researcher used a 4-point rating scale, and the data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The quality of the research instrument was ensured through a comprehensive review of relevant concepts, theories, and previous studies. A draft questionnaire was developed based on the conceptual framework derived from this review. The draft was submitted for expert evaluation by Assistant Professor Dr. Phiphat Ruangsang, a member of the Research Fund Committee and the Human Research Ethics Committee of Khon Kaen University. The review assessed the content's accuracy, relevance, and comprehensiveness. Revisions were made to the committee's recommendations to improve the instrument's overall quality.
The revised questionnaire received ethical approval from the Human Research Ethics Committee of Khon Kaen University (Approval No. HE 673215) and was subsequently used to collect data from the target sample group.
Research Findings
           The key findings of the study are as follows: 1) First-year students admitted to Khon Kaen University through the TCAS system for the 2023 academic year exhibited a high understanding and satisfaction with the admission process. However, family values and expectations placed a moderate degree of pressure on their decision-making. 2) Guidance counselors and academic staff at secondary schools in the Northeastern region demonstrated a moderate understanding of the TCAS system but generally viewed the admission policy as transparent. 3) Admission personnel from various faculties at Khon Kaen University reported that the policy was clearly articulated, and the selection criteria were appropriate for aligning student admissions with the objectives of the TCAS framework.
