การวิจัยในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน มีระดับผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสมของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักศึกษาคณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ที่เข้าศึกษาในปีการศึกษา 2561-2562 จำนวน 129 คน โดยการเลือกตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ สถิติการทดสอบที (t-test) และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA)

ผลการวิจัย ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน มีระดับผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสมของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี จำแนกตามปัจจัย เพศ ปีการศึกษาที่เข้าศึกษา สถาบันที่สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาหรือเทียบเท่า และรอบ TCAS ซึ่งพบว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p > 0.05) แต่ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนเมื่อจำแนกตามปัจจัยสถานภาพการศึกษา พบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.001) โดยนักศึกษาที่สำเร็จการศึกษามีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน มีระดับผลการเรียนเฉลี่ยสะสมสูงกว่านักศึกษาที่ยังไม่สำเร็จการศึกษาอย่างชัดเจน

สรุปผล นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ส่วนใหญ่มีผลการเรียนดีมาก โดยปัจจัยด้านสถานภาพการศึกษาเป็นปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญต่อผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน ในขณะที่ปัจจัยด้านเพศ ปีการศึกษาที่เข้าศึกษา สถาบันที่สำเร็จการศึกษา และรอบ TCAS ไม่พบความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to compare academic achievement, measured by cumulative grade point average (GPAX), among undergraduate students in the Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University. The sample consisted of 129 undergraduate dental students admitted during the 2018–2019 academic years, selected through purposive sampling. The primary research instrument was the participants’ academic achievement records (GPAX). Data were analyzed using independent t-tests and one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA).

Results: Academic achievement, as indicated by cumulative GPAX, was analyzed according to gender, academic year of admission, type of secondary school or equivalent institution attended, and admission round via the Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS). No statistically significant differences were found for these variables (p > 0.05). However, when classified by enrollment status, a statistically significant difference was observed (p < 0.001). Students who had completed their studies demonstrated significantly higher GPAX than those who had not yet graduated.

Conclusion: Undergraduate dental students in the Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University demonstrated high academic performance overall. Among the variables studied, only enrollment status had a statistically significant effect on academic achievement. In contrast, gender, year of admission, prior educational institution, and TCAS admission round were not significantly associated with academic outcomes.
