สภาพการปลูกข้าวในเขตพื้นที่ตำบลบาเระเหนือ อำเภอบาเจาะ จังหวัดนราธิวาส

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) สภาพทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจ (2) สภาพการปลูกข้าว (3) ความต้องการส่งเสริม (4) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะ ประชากรที่ศึกษา คือ เกษตรกรผู้ปลูกข้าวตำบลบาเระเหนือ จำนวน 250 ราย กำหนดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรคำนวณการประมาณการขนาดตัวอย่างของ Yamane (1973) ที่ระดับความคลาดเคลื่อน 0.05 ตัวอย่างจำนวน 154 ราย รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูป โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) เกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง อายุ 41-50 ปี นับถือศาสนาอิสลาม จบการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย หรือ ปวช. มีรายได้ 20,001–40,000 บาท/ปี มีสมาชิกในครัวเรือน 5-7 คน ถือครองที่ดินมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับ 21 ไร่ (2) เกษตรกรมีพื้นที่ทำนา 5-6 ไร่ ประสบการณ์ทำนา 19-27 ปี ปลูกข้าวเพื่อบริโภคในครัวเรือนอย่างเดียว เกือบทั้งหมดทำนาดำ ใช้รถไถเดินตามในการเตรียมดิน ปลูกข้าวสายพันธุ์พื้นเมือง ส่วนใหญ่เก็บเมล็ดพันธุ์ไว้ใช้เอง ผลผลิตข้าวเฉลี่ย 359.59 กิโลกรัม/ไร่ (3) เกษตรกรต้องการการส่งเสริมความรู้ในเรื่อง การผลิตข้าวคุณภาพ การเตรียมดินเพื่อการเพาะปลูก และการจัดการหลังการเก็บเกี่ยว ด้วยวิธีการสาธิต การฝึกอบรม การทัศนศึกษาดูงานจากสถานที่จริง โดยผ่านปราชญ์ชาวบ้านหรือเกษตรกรต้นแบบในพื้นที่ และเจ้าหน้าที่ส่งเสริมการเกษตร โดยใช้คู่มือ/เอกสารแนะนำ บทความวิชาการด้านการเกษตร แผ่นพับ โทรทัศน์ และอินเตอร์เน็ตเป็นสื่อ/ช่องทาง และ (4) ปัญหาและอุปสรรค์ของเกษตรกรในการทำนา ได้แก่ ศัตรูข้าว และปริมาณน้ำที่ไม่เพียงพอ
