Aims and Scope
Recent Science and Technology (RST) originally published as Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Research Journal (since 2009), is a by at least three independent reviewers, published by the Research and Development Institute, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Thailand. This journal publishes high-quality research articles and reviews in English, specific topics covered by the journal include Science and Technology and related disciplines:
Types of manuscript
The journal publishes original research articles and review articles, which have not been published nor simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere.
Publication Frequency
3 issues per year
Issue I: January - April
Issue II: May - August
Issue III: September - December
Starting from Volume 18, Issue 1 (2026), the journal will publish 15–20 English-language articles in each issue.
Publication Fees
Publication in this journal is free of charge.
Language
RST accepts manuscripts that are all written in English. The manuscript should be written in clear and concise language with proper grammar and correct spelling. Authors are encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed by a native English speaker prior to submission.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to RST are subject to review by three experts through a double-blind peer review process. The process will be undertaken by experienced experts, from different institutions who are not affiliated with the authors. The full process can be viewed here.
Open Access Policy
RST is committed to open access publishing. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication without any subscription charges or registration barriers.
Archiving Policy
All articles published in Recent Science and Technology are permanently archived in the Thai Journal Online (ThaiJO) database, managed by the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Centre. The journal maintains secure electronic backups to ensure long-term preservation and accessibility of its content. In the event that the journal ceases publication, all published articles will remain accessible through the ThaiJO archive. Authors retain the copyright of their articles and are permitted to self-archive the final published PDF version of their work.
Ownership and management
RST is owned and funded by Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, which is responsible for supervising and managing every stage of the publication process. All financial support contributes to the sustainability of a rigorous peer-review process and the continued excellence of scholarly publishing.

Reproduction of these contents in any format for commercial purposes requires a prior written consent of the Editor of the journal.
Revenue Sources
Recent Science and Technology is funded and supported by Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya to sustain its operations, including editorial management, online hosting, and archiving. The journal operates on a non-profit basis and provide an academic platform for researchers to disseminate their scientific findings.
Advertising and Marketing
Recent Science and Technology does not accept advertising revenue or paid advertisements and does not engage in direct marketing activities. Journal promotions, calls for papers, and related announcements are communicated only through the journal’s official websites and official social media channels.
Any informational notices are clearly separated from editorial content and have no influence on editorial decisions, peer review, manuscript evaluation, or publication outcomes. All editorial processes are conducted independently and based solely on the academic merit and quality of submitted manuscripts.
