Abstract

The study on exploration and collection of aromatic plants in thailand were carried out through natural habitat and herbaria studying during 1991 to 1998. The rsults showed that a large number of 650 species were reported in 76 distinct families and 296 species are potential for agriculture. The plans are utillised by indiginous people in various purposes such as vegetables, fruit crops, plant as pest control, plants and trend to be interested in agricultural use for the future.
