This research reports the synthesis of NaCuPO4 in both powder and single-crystal forms. Powder samples were prepared using the solid-state reaction method at 600°C, while single crystals were grown by slow cooling from the melt in a vertical electric furnace at 680°C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that the crystal structures of both the powder and single crystals were orthorhombic with space group P212121, consistent with previous reports. Notably, the single crystals obtained in this work ranges from 1x1x1 mm3 to 1x3x5 mm3 larger than those previously reported. These results demonstrate that large NaCuPO4 single crystals can be successfully grown using a vertical furnace, facilitating future studies of their physical properties.
