Information For Authors

Journal of SciTech-ASEAN is established with the objective of disseminating academic works in the fields of science and technology, as well as health sciences, with the goal of gaining national recognition. The journal aims to benefit students, researchers, and academic staff in education and research. All submitted manuscripts must undergo evaluation by at least three qualified experts through a double-blinded review process (blinding both authors and reviewers).
The journal is published online only (e-ISSN: 3088-2575 ซึ่งวารสารดำเนินการเผยแพร่บทความในรูปแบบอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (Online) เป็นหลักตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2565 หรือวารสารปีที่ 2 ฉบับที่ 1 ), with two issues per year: Issue 1 (January–June) and Issue 2 (July–December).

Beginning from Volume 4, Issue 1 (January 1, 2024), Journal of SciTech-ASEAN has revised its manuscript format and submission guidelines to align more closely with international standards and to prepare the journal for inclusion in nationally and internationally recognized indexing databases in the future. Manuscripts submitted for publication must not be under consideration elsewhere, already published, or previously presented in proceedings.

Article Submission Process

Researchers can submit academic articles for publication consideration year-round through the online journal system only.
After submission, researchers must wait for the initial review results from the editor before making any publication fee payments.
The editorial team will communicate all results and updates via the article's assigned ID thread in the system. Researchers must respond and submit revisions within the same thread.
The editorial team will provide feedback within 7 days. Researchers should check the journal's ThaiJo system for updates.

Journal of SciTech-ASEAN will begin charging publication fees for articles from Volume 1, January - June 2025 onwards. The publication fees are as follows:

Publication Fees

1. Articles that have undergone the review process by experts and the editorial board and are "accepted for publication":
1.1 Thai articles: 4,000 THB
1.2 English articles: 5,000 THB
2. Articles that the editorial board has "rejected for publication"in the preliminary review do not require the researcher to pay any fees.
3. Researchers must not make payments before receiving confirmation of the preliminary review results from the editor. If payment is made before receiving confirmation and the article "does not pass the preliminary review,"the editorial board reserves the right not to refund the full amount.
4. If the editorial board's preliminary review requires an external peer review,the researcher must pay the article evaluation fee as follows:
4.1 Thai articles: 2,000 THB
4.2 English articles: 2,500 THB
5. If the editorial board's preliminary review is passed, but the article is "rejected for publication"by external reviewers, the editorial board reserves the right not to refund the full amount.
6. If the article passes the review process by experts and the editorial board and is "accepted for publication,"the researcher must pay the remaining publication fee.
7. If the researcher withdraws the articlefrom the system after making the publication payment, the editorial board reserves the right not to refund the full amount.
