บทคัดย่อ

โรคมัยโครสปอริดิโอซิสเป็นโรคติดเชื้ออุบัติใหม่และเป็นโรคติดเชื้อฉวยโอกาสที่ก่อโรคได้ทั้งในคนและในสัตว์ มีสาเหตุจากเชื้อมัยโครสปอรา ซึ่งเป็นปรสิตที่ต้องอาศัยอยู่ภายในเซลล์ของโฮสต์และถูกจัดจำแนกใหม่ จากเดิมเป็นเชื้อโปรโตซัวเปลี่ยนเป็นเชื้อรา โดยเชื้อมัยโครสปอราที่พบก่อโรคได้บ่อยมากที่สุดในคนที่เป็นผู้ป่วยที่มีภูมิคุ้มกันต่ำ ได้แก่ เชื้อ Enterocytozoon bieneusi และ Encephalitozoon intestinalis แต่เชื้อทั้ง 2 ชนิด สามารถแยกได้จากสัตว์หลายชนิดในหลายพื้นที่ทั่วโลกรวมทั้งในประเทศไทยด้วย บทความปริทัศน์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคมัยโครสปอริดิโอซิสในคนและในสัตว์ ทั้งในด้านการติดต่อ การวินิจฉัยและการรักษาโรค
