บทคัดย่อ
สุนัขพันธุ์ไซบีเรียน ฮัสกี เพศผู้ ยังไม่ทำหมัน อายุ 5 ปี เข้ารับการรักษาด้วยอาการช่องท้องขยายใหญ่ ปวดเกร็งช่องท้อง ผลการตรวจร่างกายพบช่องท้องขยายใหญ่ มีลักษณะหนังหุ้มปลายอวัยวะเพศ (prepuce) คล้ายตัวเมีย ไม่พบอัณฑะทั้งสองข้าง การล้วงตรวจทางทวารหนักพบก้อนเนื้อขนาดใหญ่ด้านล่างของลำไส้ใหญ่ ผลการตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการพบภาวะเม็ดเลือดขาวสูง และเกล็ดเลือดต่ำ ผลการถ่ายภาพรังสีพบมีก้อนเนื้อขนาดใหญ่อยู่ระหว่างกระเพาะปัสสาวะและลำไส้ใหญ่ ผลการตรวจอัลตราซาวด์พบลักษณะโครงสร้างคล้ายท่อมีผนังหนาและมีของเหลวอยู่ภายใน และพบรังไข่ทั้งสองข้างอยู่ตำแหน่งด้านท้ายของไต สุนัขได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่าเป็นกระเทยเทียมเพศเมีย (female pseudohermaphroditism) ร่วมกับมดลูกเป็นหนอง การรักษาทางศัลยกรรมโดยทำหมันเพศเมีย (ovariohysterectomy) และให้การรักษาทางอายุรกรรมโดยยาปฏิชีวนะ และยาลดปวด ภายหลังการศัลยกรรม 14 วัน สุนัขมีอาการปกติและผลตรวจเลือดทางห้องปฏิบัติการเป็นปกติ
