บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยทำขึ้นเพื่อประเมินผลของการเสริมไซแลนเนสแบบ on-top ในอาหาร ต่อสมรรถภาพการผลิตและความเครียดจากปฏิกิริยาออกซิเดชันในไก่เนื้อที่ได้รับอาหารที่ใช้วัตถุดิบที่มีโพลีแซ็คคาไรด์ที่ไม่ใช่แป้งในระดับสูง ลูกไก่เนื้อสายพันธุ์ Ross 308 จำนวน 1,500 ตัว อายุ 1 วัน เพศผู้ ถูกสุ่มแบ่งออกเป็น 5 กลุ่มทดลอง กลุ่มละ 12 ซ้ำ (25 ตัวต่อซ้ำ) ภายใต้แผนการทดลองแบบสุ่มสมบูรณ์ อาหารพื้นฐานถูกคำนวณให้มีข้าวสาลีและข้าวบาร์เลย์ในระดับสูง เพื่อเป็นแหล่งของโพลีแซ็คคาไรด์ที่ไม่ใช่แป้ง อาหารทดลองถูกเสริมด้วยไซแลนเนสที่แตกต่างกัน 5 ระดับ ประกอบด้วย 0 1,200 2,400 4,800 และ 9,600 ยูนิตต่อกรัมอาหาร ตามลำดับ ใช้ระยะเวลาทดลอง 35 วัน ในช่วงอายุ 1-10 และ 11-24 วัน พบว่าการเสริมไซแลนเนสในอาหารส่งผลให้น้ำหนักตัวของไก่เนื้อเพิ่มขึ้น (P<0.05) และปรับปรุงอัตราการเปลี่ยนอาหารเป็นน้ำหนักตัวให้ดีขึ้น (P<0.05) แต่ไม่มีผลต่อปริมาณอาหารที่กินเมื่อเทียบกับกลุ่มควบคุม อย่างไรก็ตามไม่พบความแตกต่างระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองในด้านสมรรถภาพการผลิตในช่วงอายุ 25-35 วัน สมรรถภาพการผลิตตลอดระยะการเลี้ยง (วันที่ 1-35) ของไก่เนื้อที่ได้รับอาหารที่มีการเสริมไซแลนเนสมีน้ำหนักตัวที่เพิ่มขึ้น (P<0.05) และอัตราการเปลี่ยนอาหารเป็นน้ำหนักตัว (P<0.01) ดีกว่าไก่เนื้อกลุ่มควบคุม (P<0.01) ทั้งนี้การเสริมไซแลนเนสไม่มีผลต่อปริมาณการกินของไก่เนื้อ การเสริมไซแลนเนสแบบ on-top ในอาหารที่ 2,400 ยูนิตต่อกรัมอาหารหรือมากกว่านี้ช่วยลดระดับมาลอนไดอัลดีไฮด์ ในซีรั่มของไก่เนื้อ (P<0.01) จากผลการทดลองแสดงให้เห็นว่าการเสริมไซแลนเนสแบบ on-top ในอาหารช่วยปรับปรุงสมรรถภาพการผลิต และช่วยลดความเครียดจากปฏิกิริยาออกซิเดชันในไก่เนื้อที่ได้รับอาหารใช้วัตถุดิบที่มีโพลีแซ็คคาไรด์ที่ไม่ใช่แป้งในระดับสูงได้
