Prevalence of abnormal serum cholinesterase among the vegetable farmers in a district

Abstract

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อตรวจหาซีรั่มโคลีนเอสเตอเรสในเลือดของเกษตรกรปลูกผัก จำนวน 183 คน ในพื้นที่หนึ่งในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ทำการศึกษากับเกษตรกร 2 กลุ่ม ประกอบด้วยเกษตรกรปลูกผักที่มีการใช้สารเคมีกำจัดศัตรูพืชและเกษตรกรปลูกผักอินทรีย์ โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติ ความถี่และร้อยละ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าเกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่มีระดับซีรั่มโคลีนเอสเตอเรสอยู่ในระดับไม่ปลอดภัย และมีความเสี่ยงคิดเป็นร้อยละ 51.18 และ 48.03 ตามลำดับ เกษตรกรปลูกผักอินทรีย์มีระดับซีรั่มโคลีนเอสเตอเรสในระดับที่ไม่ปลอดภัยและมีความเสี่ยงเท่ากันคือ 33.93 ดังนั้นหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องควรให้ความรู้แก่เกษตรกรในการขับเคลื่อนระบบเกษตรกรรมอินทรีย์ทดแทนการใช้สารเคมีทางการเกษตรเพื่อลดผลกระทบของสารเคมีกำจัดศัตรูพืชต่อสุขภาพมนุษย์และสิ่งแวดล้อม
