บทคัดย่อ

การติดเชื้อ Enterobius vermicularis (พยาธิเข็มหมุดหรือพยาธิเส้นด้าย) เป็นการติดเชื้อปรสิตที่พบได้บ่อยในเด็กก่อนวัยเรียน การศึกษาแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินความชุกของการติดเชื้อ E. vermicularis และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ในเด็กก่อนวัยเรียนที่โรงเรียนบ้านไทยสามัคคี อำเภอวังน้ำเขียว จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ประเทศไทย เด็กก่อนวัยเรียนที่เข้าเกณฑ์ทั้งหมดถูกรับเข้าศึกษาโดยใช้การคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง และมีการตรวจเด็กจำนวน 69 คนในเดือนสิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2567 โดยใช้เทคนิคสกอตช์เทปตามด้วยการตรวจด้วยกล้องจุลทรรศน์ ข้อมูลด้านประชากรศาสตร์และพฤติกรรมถูกรวบรวมโดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่มีโครงสร้าง ซึ่งกรอกโดยผู้ปกครองหรือผู้ดูแล

ความชุกของการติดเชื้อ E. vermicularis โดยรวมเท่ากับ ร้อยละ 24.64 (17/69) โดยพบอัตราการติดเชื้อในเพศหญิงสูงกว่าเพศชายอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (ร้อยละ 50.0 เทียบกับร้อยละ 2.7; OR = 36.0, 95% CI: 4.4-295.0; p < 0.001) การติดเชื้อยังมีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญกับการไม่ล้างมือเป็นประจำ (OR = 3.9, 95% CI: 1.2-13.1; p = 0.040) พฤติกรรมการดูดนิ้ว (OR = 15.4, 95% CI: 4.2-56.1; p < 0.001) และระดับการศึกษาของผู้ปกครองที่ต่ำกว่า (p = 0.021) กลุ่มอายุและการใช้ของใช้ร่วมกันไม่พบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ

ผลการศึกษานี้เน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการให้ความรู้ด้านสุขอนามัย การสร้างความตระหนักรู้แก่ผู้ปกครอง และการตรวจคัดกรองอย่างสม่ำเสมอ เพื่อลดการแพร่กระจายของพยาธิเส้นด้ายในสถานศึกษาระดับก่อนวัยเรียน โดยเฉพาะในพื้นที่ชนบทและพื้นที่ที่มีทรัพยากรจำกัด
