State, Problems and Needs for Research of Professional Nurse at Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University
Abstract
The purposes of this research were to compare problems, needs and promoting guidelines for institutional research of Professional Nurse at Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University. The samples of this study were 340 supporting staffs in Professional Nurse at Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, randomized sampling by multi-stages. Then research instruments were questionnaire From Worapon Wilaem et.al. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation as well as inferential statistics including statistics Independent-Samples T Test, One-way Analysis of Variance (One-way Anova)
The results of this study showed State of Nurse’ evaluation were at a few level of Knowledge (X=2.28, SD 0.96) and skill (X=1.98, SD 1.24). Problems of time was at a high level (X=3.50, SD 1.20). Needs of motivation in research was at the highest mean (X=3.23, SD 1.15). The evaluation of supporting factors showed resources of literature was at a high level (X=3.52, SD 0.96). Problems of Budgets (X=3.06, SD 1.00) and Needs of resourcer of literature (X=3.23, SD 1.15) were at the highest mean. Opinion analysis differences between Academic position and personal type. Personal type not statistically significance difference. Academic position with statistically significance at the 0.01 level.
