บทบาทของพยาบาลชุมชนกับการจัดสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ

ปัจจุบันก้าวเข้าสู่ภาวะสังคมผู้สูงอายุโดยสมบูรณ์ของประเทศไทยกำลังเกิดขึ้นพร้อม ๆ กับการพัฒนาทางด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในยุคสังคมดิจิตัล แนวโน้มในอนาคตประชากรกลุ่มเสี่ยงและกลุ่มป่วยโรคเรื้อรังจะทวีขึ้นจากจำนวนประชากรกลุ่มสูงอายุที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น ผลกระทบที่มีนัยสำคัญต่อสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ตามลำพังในชุมชนได้เปลี่ยนวิถีชีวิตภายใต้ปัญหาสุขภาพตามบริบททางสังคม นั่นเป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้พวกเขาพยายามพึ่งพาตนเองมากขึ้น การจัดสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชนเพื่อเอื้ออำนวยต่อการดูแลตนเองของผู้สูงอายุนับเป็นบทบาทที่ท้าทายของพยาบาลชุมชน ซึ่งประกอบด้วยบทบาทด้านต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ ผู้ให้บริการสุขภาพ ผู้ให้ความรู้ ผู้พิทักษ์ผลประโยชน์ ผู้ให้คำปรึกษา ผู้ประสานงาน และผู้ให้ความร่วมมือ บทบาทของพยาบาลชุมชนจะเป็นประโยชน์ในการจัดสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนเพื่อรองรับสังคมผู้สูงอายุโดยสมบูรณ์ในอนาคต
