Abstract

The purposes of this predictive correlation study were to examine the level of online learning outcome and investigate the predictive factors of the online learning outcome on Fundamental Nursing subject during COVID-19 pandemic among nursing students. The purposive samples were 125 second year, nursing students from nursing faculty at Mahasarakham University. Data were collected by using online questionnaire consisting of personal information, satisfaction questions regarding online learning, and questions about learning outcome. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for all questions ranged from 0.88 – 0.95. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation statistics, and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows:
1) The online learning outcome on Fundamental Nursing subject during COVID-19 pandemic of nursing students was at the moderate level (x = 3.65, SD = .55)
2) There was a relationship among evaluation factors, such as devices and internet, software usage, online learning activities, and learning methods, with the online learning outcome of nursing students, statistically significance at the level of .05 (r = 0.82, 0.85, 0.86, 0.88, and 0.91, respectively). However, the factors influencing the online learning outcome of nursing students were software usage factors, online learning activity factors, and evaluation factors. Those factors could be yelled the statistically significance results of the students’ learning outcome as (R2 = 0.388, p < .05).
