ปริมาณผลได้และสมบัติของถ่านชีวภาพจากไม้ขี้เหล็ก โดยผ่านกระบวนการไพโรไลซีสแบบช้า

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปริมาณผลได้และสมบัติของถ่านชีวภาพจากไม้ขี้เหล็กโดยผ่านกระบวนการ ไพโรไลซีสแบบช้าในเครื่องปฏิกรณ์ ขนาด 200 ลิตร ภายใต้สภาวะจำกัดออกซิเจน และควบคุมอุณหภูมิการไพโรไลซีสอยู่ที่ 500 องศาเซลเซียส จากผลการทดลอง พบว่า ปริมาณผลได้ของถ่านชีวภาพ แก๊ส และน้ำส้มควันไม้ มีค่าเท่ากับร้อยละ 46.15, 52.54 และ 1.31 โดยน้ำหนัก ตามลำดับ จากผลการวิเคราะห์สมบัติของถ่านชีวภาพ พบว่า ค่าความชื้นร้อยละ 2.47 ปริมาณสารระเหยร้อยละ 14.11 ปริมาณเถ้าร้อยละ 4.63 คาร์บอนคงที่ร้อยละ 78.79 โดยน้ำหนัก และค่าความร้อนสูง 26.48 กิโลจูลต่อกิโลกรัม ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชน (มผช. 657/2547) นอกจากนั้นยังพบว่าอัตราการให้ความร้อนและอุณหภูมิเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ส่งผลต่อปริมาณผลได้ โดยอัตราการให้ความร้อนในระดับต่ำถึงปานกลางช่วยเพิ่มปริมาณถ่านชีวภาพและลดการสูญเสียคาร์บอน และถ่านชีวภาพที่ได้มีคุณภาพเหมาะสมสำหรับการใช้เป็นวัสดุปรับปรุงดินและเชื้อเพลิง
