ไส้กรองน้ำจากเส้นใยผักตบชวาผสมนาโนเซลลูโลส

บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อผลิตไส้กรองน้ำจากเส้นใยผักตบชวาที่ผสมนาโนเซลลูโลสซึ่งสกัดจากผักตบชวาและทดสอบประสิทธิภาพการกรองกับน้ำเสียจากแหล่งชุมชนในพื้นที่อำเภอบางคล้า จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา รวมทั้งศึกษาความหนาของไส้กรองและนาโนเซลลูโลสที่มีต่อประสิทธิภาพการกรองน้ำ ไส้กรองมีรูปทรงกระบอกรัศมี 2.5 ซม. มีความหนาตั้งแต่ 1 ถึง 5 ซม. การทดสอบการกรองใช้ระบบกรองแบบพาสซีฟภายใต้แรงโน้มถ่วงโลก โดยวัดอัตราการกรองน้ำและวิเคราะห์ค่าความเป็นกรด-ด่างปริมาณของแข็งทั้งหมดที่เจือปนและละลายอยู่ในน้ำ และค่าการนำไฟฟ้า ผลการทดลองพบว่าไส้กรองที่ความหนา 5 ซม. ให้ประสิทธิภาพการกรองดีที่สุด เนื่องจากสามารถลดค่าความเป็นกรด-ด่าง ปริมาณของแข็งทั้งหมดที่เจือปนและละลายอยู่ในน้ำ และค่าการนำไฟฟ้าได้ร้อยละ 3.45±0.08, 4.99±0.08 และ 6.70±0.20 ตามลำดับ และเมื่อผสมนาโนเซลลูโลสในอัตราส่วนร้อยละ 10 ต่อน้ำหนักเส้นใยผักตบชวา ไส้กรองสามารถลดค่าความเป็นกรด-ด่างได้ร้อยละ 4.45±0.07 ลดปริมาณของแข็งทั้งหมดที่เจือปนและละลายอยู่ในน้ำได้ร้อยละ 10.16±0.04และลดค่าการนำไฟฟ้าได้ร้อยละ 11.05±0.07ซึ่งดีกว่าไส้กรองที่ไม่ได้ผสมนาโนเซลลูโลส ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่าไส้กรองน้ำจากเส้นใยผักตบชวาที่ผสมนาโนเซลลูโลสสามารถลดสิ่งปนเปื้อนในน้ำและสามารถนำไปพัฒนาต่อยอดในการบำบัดน้ำเสียจากชุมชนหรือโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมก่อนปล่อยสู่แหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติ รวมทั้งใช้กรองน้ำเพื่อการอุปโภคในอนาคต
