ทัศนคติและการมีส่วนร่วมต่องานด้านประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาของบุคลากร คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาทัศนคติและการมีส่วนร่วมต่องานด้านประกันคุณภาพ การศึกษาของบุคลากร คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง กลุ่ม ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นบุคลากรสายวิชาการ และบุคลากรสายสนับสนุนวิชาการที่ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในปี การศึกษา 2554 จำนวน 71 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบความแตกต่างโดยใช้ t–test และ F–test ซึ่งผลการวิจัย พบว่า ทัศนคติของบุคลากรคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ต่องานด้านประกันคุณภาพ การศึกษา อยู่ในระดับมาก คือ การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาจะประสบผลสำเร็จจำเป็นต้องดำเนินการ อย่างต่อเนื่อง การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษามีความสำคัญต่อการบริหารงานของหน่วยงาน การประกัน คุณภาพการศึกษาเป็นเครื่องมืออย่างหนึ่งในการบริหารการศึกษา การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาที่มี ประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผล นำไปสู่คุณภาพของผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาทำให้ สามารถแข่งขันกับมหาวิทยาลัยอื่นๆได้ การประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาทำให้หน่วยงานเกิดการปรับปรุง พัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และมีบุคลากรผู้รับผิดชอบด้านประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาโดยตรง ในเรื่องการมี ส่วนร่วมต่องานด้านการประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา พบว่าอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง การเปรียบเทียบทัศนคติ และการมีส่วนร่วมต่องานด้านประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา พบว่าบุคลากรที่เป็นผู้บริหารและไม่เป็น ผู้บริหาร มีความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการมีส่วนร่วมในงานด้านการประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา แตกต่างกันอย่าง มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ แต่ไม่แตกต่างกันในเรื่องทัศนคติต่องานด้านการประกันคุณภาพการศึกษา นอกนั้น บุคลากรที่มีเพศต่างกัน สถานภาพต่างกัน ประสบการณ์ในการสอน/การทำงานต่างกัน การทำหน้าที่ ด้านประกันคุณภาพต่างกัน มีทัศนคติและการมีส่วนร่วมต่องานด้านการประกันคุณภาพการศึกษาไม่ แตกต่างกัน ดังนั้นคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ควรวางแนวทางเพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์การดำเนินงานประกันคุณภาพ การศึกษาอย่างเป็นระบบและต่อเนื่อง มีความหลากหลายของช่องทาง และให้เข้าถึงตัวบุคคล รวมทั้งควรวางแนวทางเพื่อสร้างแรงจูงใจ จัดรางวัล ผลประโยชน์เพื่อเป็นการเสริมแรง ทำให้เกิดการมี ส่วนร่วมของบุคลากรทุกระดับอย่างแท้จริง รวมทั้งวางมาตรการทั้งระยะสั้น และระยะยาว ติดตาม ประเมินผล เพื่อทำให้บรรลุมาตรการที่วางไว้

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the attitude and participation of staffs toward quality assurance of Faculty of Science, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology. The sample includes staffs and supportive staffs that working the academic year of 2011 with the total amount of 71 persons. The tool used for gathering information is the questionnaire survey. The statistic tools used for the analysis are percentage, mean, Standard deviation, amd difference test exploiting t-test and F-test. Research result shows that the staffs’ attitude toward quality assurance is on high level that is the quality assurance will succeed only with continuous operation. Quality assurance is important to the management of the organization. It is a tool for education management. Effective and efficient quality assurance leads to quality of graduates. It allows the university to be competitive with other universities, encourages continuous improvements and developments as well as having staffs directly responsible to quality assurance. As for the staffs’ participation, research result shows that there is significance difference in staffs’ opinions on quality assurance between the managing and non-managing people. However, there is no difference between these on staffs’ attitude toward quality assurance. Additionally, staffs with different gender, status and teaching/working condition have no difference in both attitude and participation in quality assurance. Therefore, the Faculty of Science should have a roadmap for continuous systematic quality assurance publicizing, which involves varietics of channels and getting to people. This includes a direction to create motivation – prize and benefit – to promote true commitment from every level of staffs. Also. short-term and long-term measures are to be plan for monitoring and evalution as fitted to the objectives.
