New English-Language Proofreading Policy; Effective January 1, 2027

Starting January 1, 2027, the Journal of Food Health and Bioenvironmental Science will implement a new English-language proofreading policy.

Following acceptance for publication, authors will be required to have their manuscripts proofread before proceeding to the production process. Authors may choose one of the following options:

  1. External proofreading service
    Author(s) may arrange for their manuscripts to be proofread by a qualified external language-editing service. The proofread manuscript must be returned to the journal within two weeks of the acceptance notification, together with an English Language Editing Certificate or a Proofreading Confirmation Form.
  2. JFHB in-house proofreading service
    Author(s) may choose JFHB’s in-house proofreading service at a fee of 5,000 THB or 150 USD per manuscript. An invoice will be issued to the corresponding author, and payment must be completed before the proofreading process begins.

Regardless of the proofreading option selected, the Editorial Board will review the language quality of the final manuscript. If further language revisions are necessary, the authors may be requested to make additional revisions before publication.

Manuscripts submitted to JFHB before January 1, 2027 will follow the existing proofreading process and will not be subject to this new policy.
