ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมด้านทันตสุขภาพของผู้ใช้บริการทันตกรรม : กรณีศึกษาโรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระยุพราชเวียงสระ

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาพฤติกรรมด้านทันตสุขภาพ และศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมด้านทันตสุขภาพของผู้รับบริการในโรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระยุพราชเวียงสระ ตามโมเดล PRECEDE Framework ระหว่างเดือนมกราคม พ.ศ. 2556 - เดือนมีนาคม พ.ศ. 2556 รูปแบบการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสานระหว่างการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) และการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) สำหรับการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ออกแบบการวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey Research) ด้วยแบบสอบถาม ส่วนการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ออกแบบการวิจัยโดยใช้วิธีสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกเพื่อเป็นส่วนเติมเต็มการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ใช้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจากการคำนวณด้วยวิธีของ Taro Yamane จำนวน 391 ราย สำหรับกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก 32 ราย

จากผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ใช้บริการเป็นเพศหญิงร้อยละ 74.2 เพศชายร้อยละ 25.8 ส่วนใหญ่จบการศึกษาปริญญาตรี รายได้ของครอบครัวเฉลี่ยต่อเดือนมากกว่า 20,000 บาทคิดเป็นร้อยละ 36.3  ใช้บริการทันตกรรมที่โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระยุพราชเวียงสระมากกว่าที่อื่นคิดเป็นร้อยละ 93.9 บริการทันตกรรมที่ใช้คือ บริการขูดหินปูนมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 55.1 สิทธิการรักษาส่วนใหญ่ใช้สิทธิบัตรประกันสุขภาพถ้วนหน้า คิดเป็นร้อยละ 42.5 ด้านความรู้ด้านทันตสุขภาพพบว่า อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และมีทัศนคติต่อทันตสุขภาพในเชิงบวก คิดเป็นร้อยละ 55.0  ได้รับข่าวสารด้านทันตสุขภาพทางสื่อโทรทัศน์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 91.2 ด้านการส่งเสริมสนับสนุนและการเป็นตัวอย่างต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองด้านทันตสุขภาพพบว่า ได้รับการส่งเสริมแนะนำจาก ทันตแพทย์ผู้รักษาคิดเป็นร้อยละ 66.5  ด้านพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเอง โดยรวมมีสุขภาพอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง

ข้อเสนอแนะจากการวิจัย ผู้ปกครองที่เป็นมารดาควรถูกกำหนดให้เป็นผู้มีบทบาทในการดูแลสมาชิกในครอบครัวต่อการมีพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองด้านทันตสุขภาพ รวมถึงการดูแลเด็กในครอบครัว และเป็นเป้าหมายในการณรงค์ให้เกิดทันตกรรมป้องกันในครอบครัวดังนั้นการให้ความรู้ด้านทันตสุขภาพการให้คำแนะนำ หรือการป้อนตัวอย่าง ควรกระทำต่อผู้หญิงเป็นกลุ่มแรกเพื่อที่จะกระจายผลทันตสุขภาพนี้  สู่ระดับครอบครัวและชุมชนประเด็นในการสื่อสารข่าวหรือความรู้ด้านทันตสุขภาพควรกระทำแบบต่อเนื่องและครอบคลุมจำนวนครั้งที่มากขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นการดูแลรักษาและการป้องกัน

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1)to study of the oral health behaviors of dental patients in  Wiang Sa Crown Prince hospital and 2) study the factors in accordance with  PRECEDE Framework model that affected oral health behaviors of dental patients in Wiang Sa Crown Prince hospital between January 2013 -  March 2013. The researcher used the mixed methodology of quantitative research and qualitative research.  The instruments used for collection data of qualitative research was a questionnaire. While indepth-interview were the data collection tool for quanlitative research. The samples used in quantitative research were 391 patients acquired by means Taro yamane collection method. The sample used in quanlitative  research were 32 patients who were indepth-interviewed.

  The result of the study revealed that: most of dental patients: 74.2 % were female patients, 25.8% were male patients. The majority of dental patients got bachelor degree. The monthly average income of their families was 20,000 baht.When they needed dental care, 93.9% of them went to Wiang Sa Crown Prince Hospital. The most popular dental care was calcium scale removing (55.1%). Forty two point five percentage of dental patients used health insurance coverage cord related of patient. The researcher found that it was out moderate level. In the aspect of attitude towards dental health. Most of them, 55.50%, had positive attitude. The percentage of patients attained dental health via T.V. media was 91.2% Related to dental health promotion, the researcher found that 66.50% of dental patients had been instructed or advised in the field of dental care by dentists. Finally, in the aspect of dental self-care behavior of patients, as a whole, were out moderate level.
