This study was to investigate the basic information on the development of the Acacia auriculiformis. The flower of A. auriculiformis was a perfect flower composing of calyx, corolla, androecium and gymnoecium. During the early stage of the development stamens initiated from a central primordium of the young flower which consisted of anther of soft and rough surface wall and sporogenous cells. In the late stage, the sporogenous cells developed into polyad pollen. The pistil was formed from central meristem at the same time as the anther formed. It consisted of a stigma, a style and an ovary. There were fourteen ovules within one ovary. An embryo sac was developed inside each ovule embryo sac consisted of three antipodal cells, two polar nuclei and an egg apparatus. There was amyloid substance formed surrounding these nuclei. The complete development process of the flower up to the blooming time took 45-50 days.
