งานวิจัยนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อประเมินความคุ้มค่าทางเศรษฐศาสตร์ของระบบสูบน้ำพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์เพื่อการเกษตร โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์เกษตรกรผู้ที่กำลังใช้งานระบบสูบน้ำพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ในพื้นที่ทำการเกษตรของตน โดยนำมาทดแทนระบบสูบน้ำเดิมซึ่งใช้น้ำมันเชื้อเพลิง จำนวน 3 ราย ซึ่งเป็นระบบขนาดใหญ่มากกว่า 2,400 วัตต์ ผลการศึกษาในครั้งนี้พบว่าการใช้งานระบบสูบน้ำพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์มีความคุ้มค่าต่อการลงทุน ซึ่งช่วยให้เกษตรกรสามารถประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิง น้ำมันเครื่อง และค่าซ่อมบำรุงของระบบสูบน้ำเดิมลงได้ (ระยะเวลาคืนทุน 2.86-6.22 ปี) และในกรณีที่ลงทุนติดตั้งระบบสูบน้ำพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ใหม่โดยไม่มีระบบสูบน้ำเดิมอยู่จะมีความคุ้มค่าต่อการลงทุนมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยมีระยะเวลาคืนทุน 2.68-5.15 ปี

Abstract

This research was conducted to assess the economic value of solar water pumping systems for agriculture. The data were gathered by interviewing three farmers who have been using solar water pumping systems in their farms. These solar pumping systems were used to replace their previous fuel-run pumping systems. The power of solar water pumping systems used in this study was larger than 2,400 watts. The result of this study showed that solar water pumping system is worth the investment (payback period in a range of 2.86-6.22 years). These systems were proved to help the farmers to save costs on fuel, lubricant and maintenance comparing to their previous systems. In case of new solar pumping system installation, the economic value is even more worthwhile with its payback period in a range of 2.68-5.15 years.
