แนวโน้มและการคัดกรองผู้ที่มีพฤติกรรมการฆ่าตัวตาย

บทคัดย่อ

พฤติกรรมการฆ่าตัวตายจัดว่าเป็นปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิตที่สำคัญและมีแนวโน้มทวีความรุนแรงอย่างต่อเนื่องทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ สำหรับประเทศไทยในปัจจุบันพบอัตราการฆ่าตัวตายสูงถึง 6.03 คนต่อแสนประชากร ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ของกรมสุขภาพจิตที่กำหนดไว้  โดยพบมากที่สุดในกลุ่มวัยผู้ใหญ่/วัยทำงาน  รองลงมาได้แก่กลุ่มวัยรุ่น/วัยเรียน และมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ทำให้เกิดผลกระทบทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจต่อประเทศอย่างมาก การแก้ไขปัญหาพฤติกรรมการฆ่าตัวตายนั้นควรให้ความสำคัญกับการคัดกรองความคิดฆ่าตัวตายเป็นอันดับแรก เนื่องจากการความคิดฆ่าตัวตายนั้นมีความสำคัญในการทำนายการเกิดพฤติกรรมการพยายามฆ่าตัวตายและการฆ่าตัวตายสำเร็จตามมา แต่พบว่าผู้ช่วยเหลือหรือผู้ใกล้ชิดส่วนใหญ่กลับขาดความรู้และประสบการณ์ในการคัดกรองอย่างถูกต้อง อาจทำให้ปัญหาการฆ่าตัวตายที่เกิดขึ้นไม่ได้รับการดูแลอย่างถูกต้อง ดังนั้นการพัฒนาทักษะและความรู้ให้กับผู้ช่วยเหลือหรือผู้ใกล้ชิดจึงเป็นสิ่งที่ควรให้ความสำคัญ รวมทั้งการใช้แบบคัดกรองก็เป็นอีกวิธีการหนึ่งที่สามารถเข้าถึงความคิดของผู้ที่ฆ่าตัวตายได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและทันท่วงทีและเป็นสิ่งที่ควรได้รับการพัฒนาต่อไป

Abstract

Suicidal behavior is a crucial mental health problem and likely to continue deteriorating in the country and abroad. Especially; Thailand is currently the suicide rate was as high as 6.03 (per 100;000); which is higher than the limit. The first is found in the adult/youth work; followed by adolescent/school age and likely to increase continuously. As a result; social and economic impact on countries tremendously. The priority remedy of suicidal behavior should concentrate on screening of suicidal ideation because the suicidal ideation is significant in anticipating the suicide attempt and completed suicide. Whereas; It was found that the assistant or the intimate are lack of both knowledge and experiences to support properly. Therefore; it is expected to focus on developing the skills and knowledge of all assessor; whether; the screening tools are another way to effectively and promptly approach of those who have suicidal behavior and should be developed in further.
