การศึกษาสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมของอาจารย์และนักศึกษาคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย (descriptive research) มีวัตถุประสงค์การวิจัยเพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมระหว่างอาจารย์พยาบาลที่มีและไม่มีประสบการณ์ตรงในการดูแลผู้ใช้บริการที่มีความต่างทางวัฒนธรรม รวมทั้งศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาพยาบาลชั้นปีที่ 3 และชั้นปีที่ 4 คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ผู้วิจัยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวนผู้เข้าร่วมวิจัยที่เป็นอาจารย์และนักศึกษา คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ 190 คน แบ่งเป็น อาจารย์ จำนวน 30 คน นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 3 และ 4 ชั้นปีละ 80 คน รวมเป็นจำนวน 160 คน ซึ่งกลุ่มตัวอย่างทุกกลุ่มได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม 3 ส่วน คือ (1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (2) แบบประเมินความรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรม และ (3) แบบประเมินตนเองเกี่ยวกับสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรม ของ ประณีต และคณะ (2552) ที่พัฒนามาจากแบบประเมินสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรม IAPCC-R ของ Campinha-Bacote (1999) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่าระดับสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมทางการพยาบาลของอาจารย์พยาบาลที่มีประสบการณ์ตรงในการดูแลผู้ใช้บริการที่มีความต่างทางวัฒนธรรมและอาจารย์ที่ไม่มีประสบการณ์มีสมรรถนะอยู่ในระดับมีความตระหนักถึงสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรม โดยสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมทางการพยาบาลของอาจารย์ทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม ไม่แตกต่างกัน ระดับสมรรถนะทางวัฒนธรรมทางการพยาบาลของนักศึกษาระดับชั้นปีที่ 4 สูงกว่าชั้นปีที่ 3 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ 0.05

Abstract

This research was descriptive research aims to study and compare the cultural competency between lecturers who have and does not have direct experience of care service with a different culture, and compare the cultural competency between students in 3rd year and 4th year. The research collected data lecturers and students were 190, 30 lecturers, 160 students of 3rd and 4th year, which were all derived from the selection of specific. The collected data queries using three parts: the first query privacy, second questionnaire about assessment the culture knowledge and three assessment self-evaluation on the cultural competence by Songwatana, et al. (2009) developed of a performance evaluation culture by IAPCC-R Campinha-Bacote (1999). The information collected by questionnaires on the five-level and data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results showed that the cultural competency between lecturers who have and does not have direct experience of care service with a different culture was cultural awareness level and non-different significantly. The cultural competencies between students in 4th and 3rd year were statistically significant 0.05.
