From October 1, 2021 Thai Journal of Pharmacology will be changed to the new title: "Journal of Basic and Applied Pharmacology" (J Basic App Pharmacol).  The publication policy is mainly unchanged, covering pharmacology and related fields.  The indexing status by Thai Journal Citation Index Center (TCI) Tier 1 remains unchanged.  The under-reviewed manuscripts  and/or those accepted manuscripts since July 1, 2021 will be published in Journal of Basic and Applied Pharmacology. 

All articles previously published with Thai Journal of Pharmacology are still recovered and accessed via Google search and other search engines.  

The Pharmacological and Therapeutic Society of Thailand  is pleased to announce that each published article (from the first issue of  Journal of Basic and Applied Pharmacology) will be entitled for one free registration for The Pharmacological and Therapeutic Society Annunal Conference.

Change of Editor-in-Chief

On 10 June 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rattima Jeenapongsa stepped down and from June 11, 2021, Professor Dr. Kesara Na-Bangchang will be our new Editor-in-Chief.  The Associate Editors and Editorial Team will be also changed.  The submission and review process will remain the same, and the contact e-mail address of the journal will be the same address:  [email protected].

Change in publication policy

Thai Journal of Pharmacology would like to inform the authors that there will be a change in journal  policy regarding publication language from January 2021.

All manuscripts submitted from January 1, 2021 must be written in English language only and Thai abstract is no longer required.
